Our Story
QuaverSports was founded by the Lub family. Our journey into the world of ice sports began and grew from a personal passion into a deep, long‑term commitment to the sport. What started with our children stepping onto the ice for the first time, soon evolved into a family immersed in training schedules, team dynamics, and the continuous search for the right equipment. Through these experiences, we gained first‑hand insight into the challenges athletes face — from choosing gear that truly supports their development to recognizing how small performance details can make a meaningful difference on the ice.
Over the years, this personal involvement allowed us to explore a wide range of materials, brands, and performance innovations. With every season, practice, and competition, our appreciation for quality equipment grew stronger. That combination of passion and practical understanding revealed a clear opportunity: bringing high‑performance products to athletes who strive to get the most out of their game. This belief led to the founding of QuaverSports and the decision to partner with brands that share the same dedication to innovation — including Bladetech Hockey.
Today, QuaverSports proudly serves as the exclusive distributor for Bladetech Hockey in The Netherlands, Belgium, (part of) Germany, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. BladeTech Hockey is a Canadian brand recognized worldwide for its patented Flex Force Advantage skate blades, scientifically proven to increase skating speed while reducing knee impact. Bladetech’s offering extends beyond blades, including pro‑level carbon fiber sticks, accessories, and apparel designed for athletes who expect more from their equipment.
