2. Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements concluded via the QuaverSports webshop.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms.
If one or more provisions are wholly or partially void or annulled, the remaining provisions remain in force.
Situations not covered by these terms or ambiguities in interpretation will be assessed “in the spirit” of these terms.
All agreements and these general terms and conditions are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
3. Offers and Prices
- All prices are listed in Euros and include 21% VAT.
- Prices exclude shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
- Before confirming an order, the full price (including shipping costs) is made clear.
- QuaverSports reserves the right to change prices and product information.
- All prices and data on the website are subject to change and possible typographical errors. QuaverSports is not obliged to deliver items at incorrect prices.
- Offers are non-binding and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
- Product descriptions and images are as accurate as possible, but photos and colors may differ from reality.
- Obvious mistakes or technical errors do not bind QuaverSports.
- Specifications and images are indicative and cannot give rise to compensation or cancellation.
4. Orders and Agreements
An agreement is established once the customer places an order and QuaverSports confirms it by email.
QuaverSports reserves the right to refuse an order if there are doubts about the accuracy or completeness of the data. Orders may be refused or additional information requested without providing reasons.
QuaverSports takes appropriate technical measures to ensure a secure online environment and safe payment options.
5. Payment
Payment can be made via the offered payment methods (including iDEAL, credit card, Klarna).
For installment payments via Klarna, Klarna’s terms apply.
6. Delivery and Shipping
- QuaverSports delivers to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
- Orders are shipped via recognized parcel services.
- Delivery times are indicative and depend on the destination country.
- QuaverSports aims to ship orders within 10 working days after payment, unless otherwise stated (e.g. in back order or custom orders).
Production of custom blades takes 3–4 weeks plus shipping time, in total approx. 6 weeks.
Production of custom sticks takes 3 months to produce plus shipping time, in total approx. 3,5 months. - Delivery times are indicative only; delays do not entitle the customer to cancellation or compensation.
- If an order contains items with longer delivery times (noted as backorders), the entire order will be shipped once complete. On request, partial shipment is possible, but additional shipping costs will apply.
- Orders can be picked up at our office in Weert, openingshours are communicated on our website (contact page).
7. Shipping Costs
- Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany: free shipping from €250.
- Denmark, Norway, and Sweden: shipping costs calculated at checkout.
- If applicable, any import duties or customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.
8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
- Customers have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must notify QuaverSports within 14 days by emailing info@quaversports.com or by using the EU standard withdrawal form.
- If you withdraw, you must return the product with all accessories, in its original condition, and preferably in the original packaging, following QuaverSports’ instructions.
- You may unpack and test the product to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning. Any use beyond this (e.g., testing equipment on ice or modifying the product) may result in a reduction of your refund.
- We kindly ask you to protect the original packaging when returning items. Missing or damaged packaging may lead to a deduction from the refund due to loss of value.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or was delivered incorrectly.
- Once the returned product has been inspected and approved by QuaverSports, it may take up to 14 banking days to process the refund. The refund will be paid to the same account/card used to make the purchase, or will be credited to your account via Klarna.
9. Exclusions from Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Customized or personalized products (e.g., items with names, numbers, or specific personalization), unless defective or incorrectly delivered.Please note; Colours are approximate and may differ slightly from the actual product.
- Items with usage marks or damage caused by the customer.
- Items with defects that the customer attempted to repair themselves.
10. Warranty
QuaverSports guarantees that products meet the stated specifications and reasonable standards of quality.
QuaverSports honors and applies the warranty offered by Bladetech Hockey. All blades purchased through QuaverSports are covered by Bladetech’s industry‑leading one‑year warranty, provided the original receipt is presented. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and applies only to blades purchased via authorized channels. BladeTech does not provide warranty on hockey sticks.
This does not affect QuaverSports’ obligation to comply with statutory warranty under European consumer law, meaning customers are entitled to products that meet reasonable expectations under normal use.
11. Liability
QuaverSports is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of products.
12. Complaints
Complaints must be reported as soon as possible, and within 7 days of discovery, via info@quaversports.com.
QuaverSports aims to handle complaints within 14 days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the customer may turn to a dispute committee or the competent court in the Netherlands.
13. Governing Law
Agreements between QuaverSports and the customer to which these terms apply are governed exclusively by Dutch law, even if the customer resides abroad.
Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
